Supplier of “Nazareno” headbands at 10 pesos each to devotees of Black Nazarene. “Aling Mercedes” to many, the headpiece peddler lord it over the streets of Quiapo once more at the “Walk of Faith” early Sunday morning, January 8, 2023.

The procession – held from the Quirino Grandstand to Quiapo Church – is in celebration of the Feast of the Black Nazarene. Where the traditional “Traslacion” remains prohibited in compliance with COVID-19 protocols.
