Amid the recent corruption scandals, hundreds of students from the College of Saint Benilde (CSB) stage a protest at School for Design and Arts Campus (D+A Campus) on October 13, 2025 against the worsening government corruption.

Organizers said “a catalyst for the mobilization is also the case of Aldrin Kitsune, a Benilde AB Film student who was served a subpoena by the PNP-CIDG for being present at the September 21 protests.”

“Following the success of the De La Salle University (DLSU) walk out, the Lasallians Against Corruption (LAC) saw the hunger of Benildeans to share their calls for government transparency and accountability,” the organizers said.

Performances and speakers from various youth groups joined in the call. Artists, filmmakers, and students marched to the Benilde Design and Arts Campus (D+A Campus) and registered their “righteous anger at the prevailing corrupt system and to fight back against the clear state intimidation of their fellow student.”

The students assembled at the front of the DLS-CSB Angelo King International Center (AKIC), DLS-CSB Main Campus, DLS-CSB Atrium Benilde Campus and they marched and converged towards the D+A Campus.
